RopeBot privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Google user data accessed

RopeBot requests only the Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. With it, RopeBot can create files and read or update only the files it has created. It cannot see any other files in the user's Drive.

How the data is used

RopeBot writes session transcripts and chronicle documents to the operator's own Drive folders. The data is used only to produce those documents for the role-playing group.

Storage and sharing

The OAuth token is stored only on the operator's private server, in a file readable only by the service. Google user data is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
